2022 F-150 PB Limited, on travel and it took 15 days, won't get back for 2 more weeks. Remote start not available either now.
Not sure what I am going to come back to, but I do have a battery charger at home, so I hope that will bring her back.

Does anybody have any ideas?

I wouldn’t worry. Deep Sleep is protecting from drawing the battery low. Mine has gone into this mode several times, and I had no problem starting up in person.

I don't drive much and if I go a week without driving I get this. I can't unlock the doors by grabbing the handles, but the fobs still work.

You should be fine. I would probably still consider a battery tender of you're going away for a super long time.

I have 2 cars that do something similar. And they are much older than our new trucks, so Ford is actually late to the party for protecting the 12V power drain.

But having said that, The truck is easier to get out of deep sleep than the cars. They both require unlocking the door with the physical key to wake up. One immediately sets off the antitheft alarm (2005 Porsche) and the other (2016 Miata) requires messing around touching buttons and holding the fob next to the start button until the car finally recognizes the key code in the fob.

While the truck is more elegant about coming out of sleep, it's also more likely to have short battery life by modern standards. There's been a considerable number of folks that have had their battery replaced under warranty on these trucks.

Thanks, guys, 1 other question if you know.
How many times can I remotely start the truck through the Ford Pass app?
I travel for 7 weeks at a time 3 times a year, and I would hope to not go into deep sleep each trip.

Just schedule your truck to start at least once a week and let it run for the entire 15 minutes. You can do that through the app.
Not sure if ford has a limit on how many times you can use the app to start, stop or lock or unlock but I have used mine a lot. My 2015 Ram with Uconnect was 5 times per hour and it cost me per year to use

I scheduled mine to start every 7 days when I leave in the semi.

I get a deep sleep message after 14 days I need to start it with the key.

I don’t even have the PB and mine was going into deep sleep overnight on a regular basis.
Pretty sure I have a battery or charging system issue.
Low voltage running and off
Start stop does not work
3 weeks at the Ford store and they are telling me it is due to an engine misfire. No codes flashed, no codes stored. Could only see the miss on a scope.
Maybe I’ll get it back this weekend—maybe not.
In a SNARKY moment, I sent the service advisor a pic of my 98 Chev k 1500

Ford has the battery set to only charge it 80%. I guess that saves gas. If you have forscan you can change that number up to like 95%. I hear it has helped some with sleep mode.

That's likely dinner for health of the battery. Keeping any battery at our near 100% charged is not good for the battery longevity.

If I remember it's twice. After that you have to start it with the key.

But that's on my 2021 and who knows what they've changed since mine was built.
