  1. Shift truck into neutral without engine running?

I agree. And it explains why they did away with the locking steering wheel. I guess it's just one of the prices we pay for all the new tech. But does seem like they could have come up with a better way...
  2. Shift truck into neutral without engine running?

I saw a post with photos here somewhere (can't find it now) and I think I remember seeing something about it in the owners manual but. If you pull the trim below your steering column, there's a strap behind there (yellow if I recall) and when you pull it, it disengages your transmission and...
  3. Eco Mode "Report"

You have to spin a 180 pretty quickly to get a kick "in the ass" from Governor Newsom! ...that's not what he's aiming for. 😲
  4. Camera Changes

I haven't been following updates but I have noticed changes from time to that appear to coincide with my screen taking a long time to come up when I start my truck. It happened again yesterday and just by chance my passenger asked about the camera views while driving down the road. I hadn't...
  5. Auto Start/Stop

Ford offered to pay me $50.00 to "delete" A.S.S. from my order and I tried to take them up on it but it was "too late". NOW... I'm glad I have it! I use it all the time and even though I have a button on my dash to override it I never do. I seriousely doubt that it has much effect on my gas...
  6. Pro Trailer setting up via just measurements?

I don't know if the Module is different from the Stickers but my 2021 XLT came with the Module and the driving I had to do was pretty minimal compared to what the instructions indicated. Walmart parking lot did the trick with plenty of room to spare.
  7. 2024 Information - Colors, Options, What Do You Know?

Unless you're picking one up from the lot, it doesn't really seem to matter what Ford tells you your new build will have. The way things are going they should tell people ordering a truck "tell us what options you would like and we'll see what we can do."
  8. Ford still removing a lot of stuff on premium vehicles

Actually moron... you're wrong. A lack of chips is exactly why those options are no longer available and why you have to sacrifice some options to get others But keep trying... it's cute.;)
  9. Road in a 2023 GMC Sierra- way better than prior years

You guys get pretty “in the weeds” with all the facts & figures. I bought my truck for towing & off roading and I’ve been doing both for decades. The hands down most impressive off-road truck I’ve ever driven was a bone stock, GMC RCSB which they don’t make anymore. But I test drove (and...
  10. Ford still removing a lot of stuff on premium vehicles

It seems to me that it's all about "the chips". Which after all this time seems insane but that does seem to be the bottleneck. Ford is desperately trying to catch up in the EV market and EVs take A LOT OF CHIPS! But after suffering through the summer of shutdowns, I KNOW that Ford cannot...
  11. what features am i missing ?

    Kickstand?
  12. Ford still removing a lot of stuff on premium vehicles

The 1st time I realized that my 2021 Column Shifter wasn't like the Column Shifter of my teens was when I opened the door with the engine running in "drive" and watched the Shifter move itself back into "park"... I said "Christine, is that YOU?!!"
  13. Ford still removing a lot of stuff on premium vehicles

I was considering trading my Fully Loaded 2021 “up” to a new F150. Until I found out all the options I would have to sacrifice! And the thing that struck me the most is “adding this” option forces me to “delete that option”! So it’s NOT like they “can’t do it”. They just WONT! WTF?!! It...
  14. Load a picture of your truck in FordPass app (instead of generic image)?

Ford could easily and inexpensively wire in a connector to interface an external processor, wireless device, etc... That's 1950's technology.
  15. Show me your exhaust!

  16. Tailgate recall

Same thing. The only way to lower my tailgate is to push the button on the tailgate. (and hang on!) I never really noticed how heavy my tailgate was until my company leased me a new Silverado. I guess it’s the added weight of the fold out step and handle. But honestly… I didn’t “pass” on the...
  17. Tailgate recall

Power Tailgate was one of the three options I passed on... for this very reason!
  18. 2023 or wait for 2024

Aren’t they though! I’m kinda surprised Ford isn’t doing more to try to get me out of my 2021 given how much it’s costing them. They send me these ridiculous flyers.. “$2,500 off the 2023 F150, blah, blah blah…” As IF I don’t know that the 2023 is $7K MORE and options I have on my 2021 are no...
  19. 2023 or wait for 2024

F%$#K THAT! 25,000 miles later and my Fully Loaded 2021 F150 RCSB 5.0 4x4 XLT hasn't even BEGUN to cease to amaze me. And I don't think Ford (or anybody else) is going to give me a ZERO interest loan on a 2023, 4, 5, or 6! No... I'm in it for the long haul and enjoying every mile. Every time...
  20. Priority Update 22-PU1009-TLC-CSM

I guess it was just the chaos of the Fou-Chi Flu. Our trucks were built in some pretty chaotic times! The sad thing is that I don't have a trailer long enough to need "assist". It's a cool feature, I'm glad I have it but backing trailers (for some reason) has always come naturally to me. I...
