Just saw this - https://www.autonews.com/nada/ford-...hips-controlling-non-safety-critical-features
GM has been doing this for awhile. I guess Ford Finally ran out of spaces to park partially built F150's?
Thoughts? I have an F150 in Build week 1/10 thats waiting on chips. Will be interesting to see what's "missing" and if they can ship it.
Paying for a platinum /w XL features just doesnt sound fun. And if this chip shortage continues do you think Ford is going to prioritize retrofitting 2022's they already sold or using chips to build more trucks to sell to new customers?
Ford executives told dealers the company would provide the missing parts for dealers to install within one year.
Vehicles will be Drivable and Sellable
