Another truck - mine - has fallen into the sheared off bolt category. Took it in for an oil change and they discovered it then. Said it could take 3 months...as that's how long the last one took. They are paying for a rental for me. (no loaners) Super disappointed. And concerned about it...
I did get that $3,500 thanks for waiting rebate....plus 4 other rebates...totaling almost $6,000. Plus x-plan pricing...which is simply friends and family pricing. I couldn't tell you what they were exactly...they're just listed as numbers.
Thank you! Very much enjoying my new ride. And speaking of ride -- the ride, the continuous controlled damping suspension, is absolutely unreal. What a change from our '13 F-150!! Still working on figuring out everything else!
Don't want to upset anybody.....but after a long and torturous 9 months...my "baby" arrived! Picked it up this morning....and it's beautiful. But a whole other animal than my '13 F-150! (In a good way...in so many ways ) Sure hope everybody else in the 3/7/22 build club sees theirs very soon!!
Good news -- the time has come! Tracker says "shipped" this morning and my dealer called to let me know that it's there. (we live super close to the Dearborn plant where it was built...shipping probably happened yesterday at some point). Picking it up on Thursday! No chip holds! Trading in my...
I totally get that! I only live about 30 minutes from where mine's been built....so me too -- I feel like just driving to Dearborn and picking it up! I did drive through my dealer's lot yesterday - just in case my tracker hasn't been updated and it really has been shipped....but didn't see it...
Interesting! I'm 3018....although still not showing it as built on the tracker....but my modules are up as of yesterday. Really don't know what all of this means -- but I'm hoping it means I'm just another step closer to getting my truck....almost 9 months now since ordering. Still hope!
Another thread is discussing this -- but thought I would post the news story on it here. (Detroit TV news). There's no way I will pay full price for an incomplete vehicle. There has to be some compensation...
There's no way they can expect me to pay full price for an incomplete vehicle. This makes no sense to me. Like someone else said, there would have to be some compensation.
My blend date was Friday (3-11) and my tracker has yet to update...still says "In Production". Could be the weekend preventing it from being updated. But my dealer let me know that it was built....and their dealership automatically puts their vehicles on AutoTrader once it's built. Saw mine...
I looked! I did see a few antimatter blues going through...and there was one with a tan interior...thought it might be the KR....but on closer inspection, saw that it was a lariat. Didn't realize you could get an interior color like that in the lariat... Anyway -- they build 1,300 a day there...
