F150 Orders Placed in Feb 2022

ordered placed 02/14/2022 made a change from a xlt ecoboost to A lariat high powerboost on 03/28 today I finally received my build date of 7/11.

I ordered 21 Feb. Dealership told me weeks ago that I'm on chip hold. This morning I requested an estimated build completion date using the chat function on ford.com. Their reply is that it would be the end of July, beginning of August for it to complete the production phase.

Hey look at that -- another Stone Gray! Not seeing many of those.
I ordered a XLT SuperCrew 157"WB 5.0 FX4 in Stone Gray on Feb. 18. Not even a VIN yet.

My dealer said est delivery first week of June. The Ford tracker just updated saying estimated delivery between 12-18th June.

I envy you! Though that is a long delivery window after the "built" date.
I ordered my XLT 4x4 Supercrew a week after you, and don't even have a VIN yet. I assume dealer, a few optional features, and my general karma all play a role...

I’d resisted for few months but decided to get on here with others expressing whereabouts F-150 Platinum PB order and confirmed 2/2/22 from Ford dealership before leaving. Yeah, they said up to 4 months. First month goes by and ask the salesperson on 3/2 about when I would receive email from Ford besides their sales department emails flyers. Salesperson said “They would check on it.” …Crickets! Checked in again on 4/4…Crickets! On 5/4, salesperson texted me “Will let you know as soon as they get an update”... Crickets afterwards!

Texted salesperson to have it on record asking for VIN# on 6/6. Reply was “When we get it, we will let you know.” “I replied back “If you are saying is true about no VIN#, then it will not be a 2022 model because of schedule end of manufacturing toward end of August.” Salesperson replied back “You will have a 2022 model.”

Personally, I don’t see how from reading Ford F-150 production schedule and without having no more than confirmation of order on 2/2/22. Thoughts?

They will continue to make 2022s almost through the end of the year.

People ordering 2021s did not get "force changed" to a 2022 until almost November. You've got a good amount of time left before you have to worry about getting bumped.

I’m feeling sad, I will end up with an old 22 (too late for my camping vacation) or a 23 with no price protection from my understanding. Loss/loss situation for me.

Still debating which situation is the worse: delay to get a VIN and a schedule, multiple reschedules or wait time for delivery.

I ordered 2/12/22. Got my VIN on 5/20/22.

Good chance you get VIN next week, especially with double scheduling.
