There ya go.I expect someone could look at their past vehicles to determine miles/year.
I have been falling between 21-22k/year for a long time now, for example, so I went for a 6/125 since that lines up pretty closely.

You're talking about a used truck. The OP has a new truck. New vehicle plans start from the in-service date.See image.
Correct - there's no mystery here - nor any "proving wrong" to be done. If you bought the vehicle new, the ESP is from the original in-service date. If you bought the vehicle used, it's from when you bought the plan. And, it's considerably more expensive.So I imagine the start-date debate is really based on whether the ESP contract is New vs Used?
