Pretty sure you can add lighting, mileage, and years to your existing ESP coverage by paying the difference.

Owner, IT Consulting\MSP company.
Check to make sure you're really comparing apples-to-apples.

The "Certified" may be for a pre-owned vehicle while straight "PremuimCare" is for the original owner.

If there's any question I'd call Granger to discuss - they're great folks to work with, no shenanigans and they'll work to get you the best deal they can deliver to fit your situation.
You bring up a good point, my truck is CPO. Ive never had one before, usually always new. So how does that work with extended warranties? Do I just ignore the 3\36 now?

I've no experience with that situation so no comment other than I'd give the great folks at Granger Ford a call to discuss.

(I DO have fantastic experience with Granger Ford as basis for that advice ;) )

(and no, I'm in no way affiliated with Granger, get no kickbacks, I'm just an extremely satisfied customer :) )

Go to the FAQ section on the various websites like Ziegler. They cover CPO there and you can also just email them and ask.

Run the calculators on all the websites. Granger will almost certainly be less than Ziegler even with their never ending "secret" promo codes.

Granger was very responsive to my questions about ESP before purchasing it.

My 2011 I went with Ziegler. Granger only started selling ESP this year.

Ziegler was $50 more than Granger. Why did I go with Ziegler? Because my truck was over 41K miles and Granger's website wasn't setup for it. You had to call/email them to get coverage, price matching, etc. For $50, click, click, click, pay, done.

Ya know that's a pretty good reason. I stutter and I'm horrible on the phone because of it. At least in person I can write stuff down that people aren't quite understanding me say/explaining.

At my age, my mind isn't the steel trap it once was, so this really had me scratching my head....but I wasn't that far off. Seems like I got a steal!

To update this thread I got the 10/100k and maintenance "package" the dealer offers. Since I bought on a Friday what time frame should I expect to see it all show up on my Ford Pass app?

Depends if you purchased legit Ford premiumcare or some random dealer off brand thing.

I bought ESP through Granger it showed up in FordPass app within 24 hours.

Mine took overnight. But it is a Ford ESP. Your may not be so. A 100k/10 Yr 100 Deductable with the light included is pricey enough you would read the details.

I upgraded to nine years and my eyes are still watering and i used Zeigler...
