Canadian extended warranty dealer?

I've done both the Warranty & Maintenance on my last 2 trucks. Used US address and bought through https://www.floodfordesp.com/ and have never had an issue. Feels great to just hand your keys over to the dealer and make everything their problem for 160,000km.

Does your warranty show up on the Fordpass app or it's only visible to the dealership when you go for any issues.

If you're looking for a better price than most Canadian dealers will give you, call Cotrac Ford in Dutton, Ontario and ask for JIM or PHIL, and tell them Peter send you. They'll treat you right!

I have had a US ESP plan on my last 2 F-150's and never had any issue with service, Nobody ever checks for addresses or anything.

How did u put in US address. My cdn ford account doesn't allow US address. Did you get an US ford account. Supposedly there is my information on the US account of your own truck even for a cdn truck! Somewhere this makes sense to Ford.

I didn't use the Ford Site, I just went through Lombard Ford and gave them a US address that I have.

Thanks for the quick reply. I wanted it to show up in my ford pass but looks by your experience that isn't necessary for it to work.

My Canadian FordPass just shows the new waaranty, not the extended, but it is in Oasis and shows up on all my servicing paperwork,

Based on the discussion thru this thread I ended up buying from Granger Ford for $1575 USD -8 yrs 100k miles (160k km), 200$ deductible, light option included. So about 2100$ cdn. It was seamless.

Shows up in my Fordpass app though I set up a US Fordpass as well as my cdn Fordpass doesn't show it. I plan to call Ford and try to combine the accounts - that will be telling. I really went thru the warranty fine print - it specifically calls out all of NA - US, mexico AND Canada. I also wanted to be comfortable with forscan changes didn't kill it - it called out engine tuning but didn't see anything that concerned me via forscan but don't take my opinion as fact on that one.

I tow a trailer a lot in the US so even if it only works in the US I will be happy! Never having to use it will even be better. I typically don't buy warranties at all but with this wheeled computer and the fact I plan on keeping it a while I decided to go against my nature. Hopefully haven't wasted my money. Until it doesn't work I am sleeping better believing I have an extended warranty.

I went through Granger as well....10yr 100,000 mile , lights with $100 deductible for $2400 approximately.. check with local dealer and it shows up for my truck. There is a thread on here about getting a US address.

Good to know. I had planned to check with my local cdn dealer to see if they see it. Sounds like you have already done this and confirmed cdn dealerships can see it.

How did you setup the US version of Fordpass? I just looked as I have Ford US account and don't see anything there.

I set it up using the same address I used to buy the warranty. I set up the Fordpass app to log into my US account and it showed up there.
