Mica (the material that gives pearlescent paint the pearl look) looks like metallic when mixed into the base coat.

Yea it doesn’t really look “pearl-y” until you spray it and cure it. Mica is basically a weird rock that’s ground into fine powder and added to the paint. At least that how it was explained to me by the company making the paint

Good looking truck. That is the exact configuration I would order from Ford in Avalanche minus the FX4 package. I'd even opt for the two mirrors.

Does that truck have the front bench seat. When I built one on line the 3.5 didn't seem to be available with the 40/20/40 bucket seats. I was looking at a 2.7 22 that had the front buckets.

Yes black and I seen another 2023 stx black appearance package and lights were chrome weird but glad they are black

Seen some regular XL single cab 23s with the black headlights.

I was wondering what option you got for the front seats? When I built a 2, 3.5 STX Super Cab with the black appearance pack on line. The only option was the front bench.

I don't know if that was because of the BAP or because of the 3.5 option.


When I was looking at a 22, 2.7 STX Super Cab BAP at the dealership. That truck had the front console and split bucket seats.

The difference could be because of 22 to 23 model year changes.

The 2022 Build & Price showed two colors : Space White/ Space White Metallic. Not sure how you got one or the other.

nice truck, can you get dual exhaust with the 5.0 in 2023 model year.

I think you can with 5.0 the Ford build and price guide says only available with supercrew that is wrong. My truck is a supercab and it has dual exhaust. I believe it should say only available with 145" wheel base

Blacking out the headlight surrounds is a HUGE improvement. I wish my XLT Sport had the chrome trim blacked out. It's the only chrome on the whole darn truck and just looks off. This looks nice!
The rear bumper/dual exhaust is also a sweet look. Is it just an added pipe from the rear resonator back or actual dual exhaust from the engine back? I would think a single saves some weight though.
