If you are still on the original battery, there’s a good chance it’s the issue. These trucks are real hard on batteries. There’s quite a bit of info on battery consumption on other threads.

Was you truck affected by the recent bad update before this DSP update you are referring to? In other words, an OTA fixed the previous bad OTA?

One thing not discussed throughout this entire thread, is for those of us who were early adopters of the GEN 14, our bumper to bumper warranties have expired. I have a dealer extended warranty (I’ll never do that again) which will not cover any software issues. So when Ford pushes an update...

And another thing: Message prompts from any navigation (Sync, CarPlay, etc.) and audio texts from CarPlay now fully cut out the music. Previously, it would lower the volume of the music so the prompt could be heard. Just another thing I'm not real fond of. But mostly, I want my volume back...

Well... lots of opinions on here about the '24. I haven't see the XLT, Lariat, etc. trim levels yet, but I for one kind of like the STX so far. The 14th gen front headlights had to grow on me. I definitely preferred my 2018 STX's looks more at first. Now, I actually prefer my 2021. Go figure...
