Pretty sure the whole supply chain is the issue. I am 100% positive Ford wants to sell these trucks. but getting the parts, and the trucks to the dealer, is the issue.

OUCH. Kentuky really socks it to a vehicle owner.

I think our cost has increased to about 75 to 150 every two years. regardless of car value.
Yea it's pretty ridiculous. I don't think I've ever paid less than $350 on any car

Lol, Guess there are no CA on this thread. They pay 7.25% use tax PLUS a registration vlf of 2% before the smaller nickel and dime reg fees .
Essentially 10% with 2-3% recurring for the first few years before it tapers down.

8k on a shiny platinum! I do not miss living there…at all lol.

TN is pretty high compared to most. Fortunately my trade cut taxes to less than half, otherwise it would have been around $4500

Got my tag renewal week. a whopping $5.25!!

Hello,

Reading this thread is comforting as I contemplating ordering from Granger. The only part that concerns me now is doing all the registration paperwork here in Florida all by myself.
Being in Florida, you should research extended warranties too. Believe you can buy a discounted one from Granger in person at time of purchase. Otherwise your option is paying a considerable markup to buy one in state.

Great point for those poor Florida people that are willing to make the trip. That is a tremendous opportunity if you are going to Granger and even considering an ESP.

Picked up my PB from Granger on Tuesday. Other thank the airline fiasco getting to Iowa, the whole process was as painless as expected. 1100 mile drive home went smooth.

Transmission shifting was smooth as silk, EV mode was seamless. I was a bit concerned after reading the horror stories here, but so far so good.

Picked mine on Tuesday as well. I was in and out in less than 15 mins.

Realistically, you should be closer to 12 weeks, depending on what you ordered. 12 weeks from order to Granger to delivery, but I tried to ensure no extras like spray in bed liner and I also went with loaded XLT instead of Lariat just to try and simplify what Ford had to build. I will miss the leather seats and B&O unleashed, heated steering wheel, etc. but I needed a truck sooner rather than later, so I decided to compromise on what I “wanted” versus what would be good enough.

good luck on your build…

also, hopefully, you make the Ford 3.9% financing, which expired today.

I ordered mine from Granger on 9/23/22 and it arrived on 12/23/22, exactly three months. Mine is a fully loaded lariat minus BlueCruise. This includes a spray in liner (mandatory option) and power steps. Thought for sure I wouldn't see it until spring.

I also got 2.9% financing through Ford, secured this yesterday and picking the truck up tomorrow.

Hi Deejay - 2.9% or 3.9%? I thought the Ford deal was 3.9%. I just picked my truck from crew this week. 3.9% was what I got from Ford.

I took the routing information from Granger and went to my bank for a money transfer. It was a large amount, so I wanted "official" documentation of the transfer. They got it the next day.

EDIT: I messed up. The deposit was a credit card, the final pay was money transfer.
