Waze turn-by-turn on the instrument panel?

Although, I admit - I don't like its functionality in Android Auto/SYNC 4 because you cannot add a stop to an ongoing route (you can on the phone).

I think you can, but it's buried in the Alternate Routes submenu. I could have sworn I've added a stop on AA while driving. I'll need to check on my way home today.

EDIT: @sbi it's using the Search next to the Alternate Routes button at the bottom left of the screen when you're navigating. Whatever you add it adds as a stop to your destination.

On the plus side, the latest update of Waze on iOS seems to have fixed the issue related to interfering with audio playback on Sync 4.

I believe mine works through Android Auto.

Reason #396 why Android is better than Apple.

Of course, in 2 yrs Apple with have that feature and tout it as new.

iOS has supported the feature since 2019.

It's up to Google to add it to their iOS apps. Which they may never do because typical Google... they love to buy companies and let them rot for a few years with no major changes before shutting them down. They've already moved some of the major Waze features to Maps (speed trap alerts). Waze is on borrowed time.
