Reposting, as I think this is a better section of the forum, since it has to do with a FORScan change.

Is there a way to shut off the navigation information from showing up in the cluster completely to keep the gauges bigger and the speed limit in the speedometer gauge?

I believe I remember seeing something in FORScan about Navigation or Turn by Turn in Cluster, or something similar, but I couldn't find a doc online that shows what all of the options in FORScan module "easy mode" screens do and I didn't to just wing it, just in case that option didn't do what I would have thought, or would break anything.. Is there a doc out there I can reference? Or does anybody know for sure if that or another option will turn that off?

Yup, just look for the turn by turn option in the IPC and disable it, should be in easy mode but if not do it in asbuilt

I tried make the change, it still moves the gauges around and shows the navigation on the cluster when I set a destination.

This might do it then, this should remove it from the cluster menu.

Like @JDaleo , I too would like turn off the turn-by-turn display in the instrument cluster, but keep it on the Sync4 screen. Also like him, the first method did not work for me. I just tried the second method, and it didn't work for me either. The original AsBuilt configuration for my truck was 0838-xxxx-xx. According to the spreadsheet, that value should be changed to 0828, but no bueno. I looked further around the IPC module, but didn't see anything that jumped out at me. What am I missing?

Did you happen to see if the AsBuild change remove the Navigation option in the cluster?

Leave the 0838 alone and change

0838 00XX XXXX

It will be 0838 01XX XXXX from factory

That's what superfordman suggested above, but unfortunately it didn't make a difference. When I set a navigation point on android auto, it still came up on the cluster.

So when I modified my XLT 302A to remove turn by turn, I made the following changes:

APIM: 7D0-09-05 X0XX-XXXX-XXXX
IPC: 720-05-01 XXXX-X0XX-XXXX

Caveat, I don't have the full digital panel.

I can't hook up to FORScan right now, but based on Fords Module Build Data website, my APIM already has a 0 there, very odd. As-Built: 7D0-09-05 0005 0000 00.

Unrelated, i see 7D0-09-05 xxxx-*xxx-xx for Walk Away Lock.. wish the truck had that, but if I remember right, someone else tried messing with that and it never worked right on the Gas models, maybe for the Lightning.

Well, I tried everything I could right now and I couldn't make the turn by turn disappear from the IPC when you have a route set. Tried numerous things in the IPC and APIM and nothing made it go away. You can disable the nav menu in the IPC but that doesn't really do it. I did find a APIM option to enable the nav repeater menu option in the cluster, but not sure where that options shows up or if its even for F150s. Maybe someone else will have better luck than me.
