Shouldn't the front seats in a Lariat 502A have Tilted Head Restraints?

Even my June 2021 501A has tilt headrests.

The 2021 and 2022 order guides show the tilting headrests for only King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited. Definitely interesting that some other trims have it.

My 2021 lariat 502a does Not have them. My 2016 lariat did.

This sounds crazy, but I wonder if it has something to do with interior color as to who has and who doesn't have them. I have Dark Slate and mine tilt.

It looks like Ford just put them freely when they had them.

Just another data point for everyone...My 300a XLT has them. Dark Slate interior as well. Nothing is noted my window sticker about them being an add

I set in a 2021 Lariat months ago, months before ordering and I was able to tilt the head restraints. Mine don't. Am I missing something?

Is it possible hey are on backwards/flipped around? I know they have steps for up and down, but not keyed if they are flipped.

Take a picture of all your headrests, front seats and back and show us.

They are definitely not backwards, there is no backwards. Even if backwards they would have tilted back, or some direction, but they are not moving, only up/down.

This is news to me. Considering my previous model XLT has them, I was just presuming a newer model Lariat would have them…..hmmmm
