Had the same thing happen to me recently. Expected to see notification of a new update that I received but found nothing on screen or Ford Pass. Puzzling what could be the trigger for the change without an update.

While understanding the need to avoid overfilling the tank to prevent damaging the vapor canister, my OCD will not allow me to stop filling at first click if the sale amount is not a round number. Mine did the same today without receiving any OTA updates. My View and gauge selection both changed.

Received this yesterday and having same issues as everyone else on my B&O 8 speaker system. Amazingly bad. Don’t they test anymore???

Eco giveth (quicker upshifts and higher gears) Eco taketh away (keeping higher gears and creating boost) I’ve determined for me personally there isn’t much, or any, gains.

Wow that’s amazing. The exact same thing just happened to me last Wednesday. Received the 3 updates you listed back to back one right after the other after not receiving anything since 6.4 on 12/5. Only difference is mine is a 2021 job 1. Congrats and good luck on future OTA updates!

Yep super frustrating. I got that phantom update over a dozen times since Dec 5 but was finally able to break on thru to the other side yesterday. It wouldn’t have been nearly as frustrating to just wait for the next OTA without the constant teasing. Felt like poor ol‘ Charlie Brown being...

2021 job 1 currently on 6.4 received OTA on 12/5. Have previously kept up albeit a few weeks behind until I dropped off Ford’s radar. What‘s going on???

Same here. Nice to have another set of “eyes” watching out for me while navigating tight quarters. But curious if there’s a quick way to temporarily shut off the audio alert before it drives you nuts when you are already aware that you're adjacent to an obstacle.

Oh I believe it. Just wanted to make sure I was correctly understanding what you wrote. Ford‘s updates are notorious for their wonkiness. Glad 6.8 went thru successfully for you.

Just curious…..are you saying your horn alarm sounded as a result of receiving 6.8 OTA? Not sure if I’ve ever heard of that happening.

Mine started doing the same a couple of weeks ago. Not every time but frequently. Usually closing app and restarting would show location. Not sure what triggered this.

Well good luck to you and appreciate you sharing your experience. Gives me hope that 6.5 might eventually get to me. @rugedraw had noted the difficulties that FMC had been experiencing (more than the usual problems) and I was afraid they had shut down OTA updates.
