  1. Sync always starts up on settings screen?

I question the determination that an updated caused it. My truck never received an update since the day it was born.
  2. Recalls Done in your Driveway

I think that the same truck came to me (D&D) :D
  3. UPDATE 2: Bumper-to-bumper, vs "normal wear and tear" - is this covered?

Update 2: Door seal replaced under warranty, it took less than an hour.
  4. Recalls Done in your Driveway

Still better than wasting time and driving to the dealer for that. My same two recalls were also done in the driveway.
  5. Closing in on a year with no OTAs... just another rant.

Re-posting: My truck was built 12/9/2021, last update was 12/8/2021.... And @OP - Ford doesn't really "need" to keep you happy, their product is hot. Always has been, still is, and unless a natural disaster happens it will continue to be. The affect of bad mouthing Ford for lack of updates is...
  6. How to make Stowable Shifter fold down automatically?

Not sure why the sarcasm. No, it did not address your specific question (perhaps because they don't have the answer) but their response/question was legit and polite, a curiosity that many have, not because it can't be beneficial to you but because of the "cheaply made" feeling that most owners...
  7. Would you buy a truck that was a lemon and resold by Ford?

I'll buy a Nissan Titan before I buy any lemon vehicle.
  8. How much is Ford spying on us?

AFAIK, disabling the Data share also disables some of the SYNC functionality, or it could be the vehicle location.
  9. A Coyote can sip fuel!

So you said you work for Ford, ha?! Any family and friends group buy discount on parts and accessories, tech manuals, inside scoops? ;)
  10. ECU module programming guide using FDRS

I see. AFAIK it was not replaced. I just try to read and watch as many videos as possible before I get my hand on the "goods" so I'll have as clearer theoretical picture in my head as possible on the process. And I understand, no worries, not in a rush at all. Thank you!
  11. ECU module programming guide using FDRS

Yes, you did. No APIM swap AFAIK and I am on the list for the cable :giggle: , so hopefully there will not be a need for a replacement. Do you think there is a reason to replace it?. When I asked the dealer to do the updates, the senior tech. told the apprentice (in the vehicle) "there are no...
  12. ECU module programming guide using FDRS

OK, I am job two, my current version is so just follow the "standard" procedure in this post?
  13. ECU module programming guide using FDRS

I watched this YouTube on manual update and at some point he connected directly to a plug behind a panel in the center console. It also appears in the TSB. I did not see any indication about that here. Is this necessary? Thanks.
  14. Kinetic rope & soft shackle recovery incident

I dare to say I am probably a lesser of a recovery expert than you are, but that Jeep driver is a douchebag.
  15. UPDATE 2: Bumper-to-bumper, vs "normal wear and tear" - is this covered?

Is it still under warranty? If so, I would go and have them look at it. If enough people complain about it, they may investigate what's causing it.
  16. UPDATE 2: Bumper-to-bumper, vs "normal wear and tear" - is this covered?

Update: Spoke with the service director about 2 weeks ago, I explained my reasoning for coming on a Saturday just so that they can look at it and take pictures, I clearly do not expect anything to be done with it on a Saturday. He agreed of course, asked me to speak with a specific person who...
