That’s some very active motion going on! Little bit more sugar to adjust the power level. (My son liked to do that when he was around that age)

i would say for lesser pressure on the back, you might try removing the active motions shoes .

We had something similar when our son was that age, although I believe it was strictly a kick protector. Can’t say that it dampened the motion a whole lot, despite being made like body armor, but it did protect the seat back. Our permanent solution was to put him behind the passenger seat.

I got these for my wife's explorer. They don't have the compartments but what I like about them is they only connect at the top and under the seat. They don't wrap around it.

yeah i got seat protector like that too though i have no idea which brand it is without going out to look at it. haha i also had one for the actual car seat too bc it was make marks on the seat bottom.

Yup, I have thick ones to protect the leather from the car seats (transferred from my '17). As the kids have grown out of car seats I've just kept them there.

These are the ones i got for anyone interested. Going on 6 years and they still look new. My '17 had zero marks/indents on them after 4.5 years (Before I traded it in):

Yup, I have thick ones to protect the leather from the car seats (transferred from my '17). As the kids have grown out of car seats I've just kept them there.

those are nice. i ended up with this two items. i've had then for 7 years now and no issues whatsoever as well.
