OTA Ford Power-Up 3.5.3 and upcoming Alexa Built-in roll-out

I had to drive my truck around a bit to charge it up and wake it from deep sleep mode... and I parked it on the top floor of the parking garage. Boom... that evening I got 3.5.3.

Now... I have a daughter named "Lexie", so we changed all the Alexa's in the house to respond to "Echo"... I didn't see that option in the truck. (Granted, I went through it pretty quickly, but there really aren't that many settings.)

Has anyone changed the "Wake Word" for Alexa?

Looks like it finished while I was driving to work and updated shortly there after. Is alexa in this one or will it now be in 3.5.4?

We have the same truck as you.. 2021 F-150 Lariaet. Throughout the last "seemly forever" I've been watching for Alexa (in Canada). I got in the truck on Saturday and noticed it was finally there. The only thing was I had to use my amazon.com account to register, so not sure if it can be linked to my amazon.ca account. I'd be curious for those in Canada, if you can use amazon.ca to register?

I'm in the 3.5.3 limbo.

Just did a restart (holding audio power button and the fast forward button) and then when it reset i went to the software update icon and clicked check for updates.... it showed "3.5.3 is pending.. with all the new stuff and info for the update". and then it went away and said "you are up to date."

trying to get this thing to install but can't figure it out!

Why do some who have posted pictures of the update have the blue Alexa ring on the screen and others don’t? I have Alexa enabled but no blue ring on the screen.

I only get it after I say her name, or if I go into my settings menu or audio sources. You won’t see it until you go into settings and link your account.

I have Alexa disabled since I bought my 22 in Oct. The blue ring was there until I disabled it.

I wonder if it has something to do with how a lot of 22's came with Alexa before 3.5.3 etc.

I'm not sure really.

This may be just a coincidence but my 3.5.3 download started today after I input the days of the week and times into the "update schedule" (I did every day at 12:00am). Hopefully this helps some of you.

I received 3.5.4 today as well. Not sure when it came through but was there when I opened FordPass this evening.

The Alexa ring will stay on your dash until you either activate it or dismiss it. So anyone who shows their screen without the Alexa ring showing has done on of the two options.

That's great news! Just an FYI ford technical support has recommended not using midnight. Instead use 11:30 ,1:00 or something like that.

That's great news! Just an FYI ford technical support has recommended not using midnight. Instead use 11:30 ,1:00 or something like that.

I just received a message that 3.5.3 was downloaded but no change was made to sync version
