As my dad said - It's only illegal if you get caught. If you're tuning your truck, warranty should be a side-thought.I'm not sure E30 is authorized per the manual, but that is nasty quick with just a tune. I'm not sure the larger intercooler and exhaust do much for a one time run. Repeated runs for sure.
Point. I haven’t seen E30 that I can recall. Google says 94 octane. I wonder if 93 premium gets close to that performance with tuning? As my dad said - It's only illegal if you get caught. If you're tuning your truck, warranty should be a side-thought.
E30 Is not available at the pump at least anywhere I’ve seen it. Typically just a 93 + E85 blend…at least that’s what I run.Point. I haven’t seen E30 that I can recall. Google says 94 octane. I wonder if 93 premium gets close to that performance with tuning?
E30 is available at few places, but that's not really what you want. The e-blends where the pump is doing it typically is blending its 87e10 stock with its e85 (or possibly e98. e98 makes pump blending much easier because it's essentially pure ethanol adulterated with gasoline just enough to not make it human consumable.)Point.
