Looking forward to the 2023’s having a flash tune option.

I'm not sure E30 is authorized per the manual, but that is nasty quick with just a tune. I'm not sure the larger intercooler and exhaust do much for a one time run. Repeated runs for sure.

Idk, 12 seconds of WOT plus the idling up to the line and all the pre-race stuff including brake boosting will cause higher IATs. And not only is the intercooler bigger but probably better flowing, too. That'll help keep the IATs from getting too hot even at launch. I'd bet the IC is doing more than the cat-back.

Probably right about that. Shaving 2 seconds off stock is pretty impressive regardless.
I would certainly need the IC with all the failed starts and 15 second runs I’d be laying down lol.
I’d only show off my one good run though 😉

I want that tune for the electric motor tuning alone, but to run an 11?? The fastest time I've ever run was a 12.1 on my old SV650s. Hell even my 300ZX only ran a 13.1.

Owner, IT Consulting\MSP company.
Fold those mirrors and put a tonneau cover on...
I couldn't hear but is he spooling the turbos up before launch?

Edit: Listened again with volume, he spooled up.
Still think he would cut time with a Tonneau cover and folding those mirrors, not much but some.

I'd assume the cat-back gives negligible gains Anything before that in the exhaust path could be more restrictive though. The IC, helps with IATs, but doesn't really add power - just consistency and full potential.

As my dad said - It's only illegal if you get caught. If you're tuning your truck, warranty should be a side-thought.

Point. I haven’t seen E30 that I can recall. Google says 94 octane. I wonder if 93 premium gets close to that performance with tuning?

E30 Is not available at the pump at least anywhere I’ve seen it. Typically just a 93 + E85 blend…at least that’s what I run.

The PowerBoost sets the strip on fire while:

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) — Automaker Stellantis on Wednesday announced a recall of more than 32,000 of its hybrid Jeep Wrangler SUVs because they pose a potential fire risk.

E30 is available at few places, but that's not really what you want. The e-blends where the pump is doing it typically is blending its 87e10 stock with its e85 (or possibly e98. e98 makes pump blending much easier because it's essentially pure ethanol adulterated with gasoline just enough to not make it human consumable.)

An e30 tune makes octane assumptions in that you're at least starting with 91e10 and blending in 20% more ethanol with the result being nearly a 94.7 PON. A pump blending 87e10 + e85 results in a 91.8 PON.

This is why I was happy to discover competitively priced 93e0. Blending it to e30 results in a PON of 97 (R+M/2 pump octane rating). I can blend it with the local 80% e85 at a 2:1 ratio and still be able to get a couple degrees more timing than a standard e30 tune while letting the OAR do its thing. The current cost for this blend at 2:1 is $2.85/g
