Statements like these make me love my "puny little v6" even more
Makes the strong, tough "V8" guys look for more excuses on why they chose the V8.. Usually because it sounds cool
And how do you get to a higher power potential?? Forced induction maybe??? And at what cost? $8-$9k?? $10k+++
Will...
To say that turbos WILL go out is 100% not factual
A buddy and a coworker both with 5.0s are on their second engine.. one with 70k miles, another with 130k miles... That's just people I know
Another good friend has 302k miles on his 2011 Ecoboost with original turbos
To say one engine is...
My life is too short to worry about cubic inches and the size of my engine...
Give me performance in any size package...
Every vehicle I own is turbocharged
Semis, tractors, pickups, SxS, hell even my 2 stroke snowmobile makes 225hp on 8psi
Over 300k on my buddies 3.5.. pulls a trailer daily on his farm.. couple sets of plugs and coil packs is it... Trans is acting up finally.. but he does pull 10k++ every time he drives it
Everyone hates on the 3.5... funny how people can hate a truck with a tune only crew cab that will run a 11 second 1/4 mile and out tow any other half ton on the road....
You guys do realize that a tune only EB can outrun a trx in a 1/4... E50 Ecoboost is capable of running high 11s.. stock Trx is mid 12s
Videos are all over youtube
Doesn't matter if powerboost or Ecoboost.. the 3.5 is a sleeper
