Just picked up my Velocity Blue XLT on Thursday and I've already got the mod bug going. I'm interested in a custom tune for the new ride like I had on my 13 EB but haven't had luck finding anything advertised. What's out there? TIA

Nothing out yet that I know of. You can keep an eye on 5star they already have dyno graphs on all the new motors.

Only JB4 device tuning is going to be awhile due to the new encryption and over the air updates, Trust me I am so ready for the tunes, but without trans tuning a 500 price for tricking the engine and not as much gain as a ECU tune, I have been hesitant on pulling the trigger for the JB4 device that just makes some difference.

Keep Us updated, This module most likely will not be traceable because it does not flash your ECU. It just deceives the ECU, If a dealer pulled logs the engine is still running Stock mapping, the dealer would just notice different levels in the stock mapping is all. I am willing to bet 100% no trans tuning as well. This device would be similar to JB4. 5 star did some runs with the JB4 and it ran better numbers but until dyno numbers are posted for the AFE it is anyone's guess. I am not saying leave it on your vehicle when you take it to the dealer, please remove it, but running a flash tune is more likely going to hurt you at the dealer then these Add-on devices.

Higher dyno numbers are great, but without trans tuning I care more about the difference these devices make 0-60, 1/8 mile. 1/4 mile. I would like to see a baseline run and then after it is installed another run to compare. These add power but the stock mapping is restrictive how much of a difference can it really make versus a custom flash tune.

I had a JB4 on my VW a few years ago which I replaced with an APR tune after my warranty expired. I would consider doing the same thing with my F150 but I would like to see what the actual gains are with the JB4. Unfortunately, Burger is not as widely used in the Ford world so there doesn’t seem to be a lot of reviews out there. The dyno info on their website is really confusing for the F150 and it’s badly dated. I’m really curious what the actual gains are with a 21 EB.

I contacted Whipple today and they said they can tune a 2021 3.5 Eco and they are coming out with a stage 1 tuning package very very soon. They already tuned a 2021 F-150Coyote with a 3.0 Whipple.

I’m looking forward to see what comes out for the powerboost and what kind of numbers it’ll put down.
I’m specifically waiting to see more from tsperformance’s octane series, jb4, or scorcher. I like the piggyback idea.
