I was trying to fix a another issue under the hood (trailer brake fault) when I noticed both coolant clamps on each side of overflow just sitting there loose in the locked open position. Didn't even know they had a locked open position.

The line worker had enough time to close mine.

This is exactly why many prefer to do their own maintenance.

I wouldn't put very good odds on an entry level lube tech or a flat rate parts changer finding a loose hose clamp.

Seems odd these 2 clamps have a locked open position, but pretty much all the others don't.

Checked my coolant lines just now.

Not quite sure what I’m looking at, friends. It all looked normal and snug, but couldn’t tell for certain if they were clamped properly.

Here is what I’m looking at:

Looking at the extra coolant tank in your photo, looks like you have a PowerBoost, correct?

Checked my coolant clamps (and all the others) and didn't see any issues. This is the first I've seen these constant tension clamps that latch open though.

Checked mine. All looked good.

But, my battery negative connector was only half way down the terminal. So, I fixed that.
