Without knowing your trim level or any details about your f150 it's hard to say. But if you google it with your info there's lots of available information

I saw this "issue" and took a quick look at mine built in Dearborn October 2021. Most, if not all, could be pressed down and fully seated. Just guessing that this is an automated process. There's probably a min/max force involved and they likely don't need to be fully inserted to meet the specification which provides sufficient contact and retention. Also guessing that it would be much worse if they were cracked or compromised in some way by pressing too hard.
