APIM still wont update

If someone could elaborate on what the ford diag. engineering tool is and what it does? would be nice to know

My snarky reply:

So somebody side-loaded a new software build version on to the APIM.

They force-overwrote the firmware. Perhaps another way to say the same thing?

They jailbroke it!

so the usb stick never took?

unfortunately No.
it would start and go about 50%. then a usb error would occur ( had tried multi usb sticks also)
so it did not work for me.
