I have been trying to find a somewhat specifically-optioned 2023 Platinum before the end of the year to take advantage of the current incentives. I found a number of courtesy vehicles, but only one new vehicle in stock. I'm curious how the pricing I'm being offered (after negotiation) compares with what others are seeing in their area. Price breakdown below with no trade included, would welcome any thoughts or opinions.

You're getting ripped off big time. I'm a FL resident and would never buy a car in FL. There are no laws to protect the consumer from dealers.

It looks to me they are putting a markup on what you are buying. What is meant my "Market value" Is that the MSRP?

The doc fee is all profit you should negotiate that down

What the hell is that $1995 plus fee?

What are those taxable fees? If it's taxable, its negotiable!!!

They need to itemize that Non-Tax fees.

Take the VIN and look it up on the ford website and get the actual Window sticker.

@SEPA F150 thanks for the feedback. Where are you getting the 90k number?

The $81,015 is the MSRP from the window sticker, so that number is correct. The $1,994 is the now-too-common "dealer protection plan" that I am seeing just about everywhere and they refuse to take off.

I have a 24 on order and they tried adding that "dealer protection plan" I threatened to walk out....They took it off.

They also tried to charge 299 for VIN etching. I also threatened to walk out. They took that off too.

The market is changing... An not in their favor.

... to take advantage of the current incentives.
Just curious, what exactly are those "current incentives"? Are they reflected in the tally above?

@Buyer2021 2.9% financing is the primary incentive I'm after, which doesn't really come into play on this pricing sheet.

Lithia Ford in Boise has eight Platinums in stock. Here is a Powerboost Platinum for $67,000 bucks.
I don't know what your specific search is for on the Platinum's but go check their website on the 8 available.

Sorry. I was only looking at the first two lines. I have since seen the adjusted price.

@JJSnell thanks for sending that along. The overall discounting is similar to what I'm getting. The truck I'm looking at has a sticker value $2,600 higher than that one, and the retail consumer cash will not apply because it can't be used with the 2.9% financing. So $66,995 + $2,600 + $1,000 = $70,595 before dealer fees, taxes, etc.

The comparable value from my pricing sheet is the $70,549 number.

But of course, the fees that come in after that discounting are where the dealer is clawing back money like @SEPA F150 pointed out.

I got my Platinum for 65.700 with no deletes.
4k miles. Platinum hybrid with 7k generator.
The dealer quoted a outrageous xtended warranty.
I ended up getting a 8 year 100k ford plan from Granger for 2200.00
Your paying too much.

@Spiffy - assuming that was before tax/tag/title? There is a courtesy/demo out there with 2k miles that I was hoping would have pricing like that, but doesn't.

Definitely sounding like I should pass with this particular dealer/vehicle.

Lithia is to be avoided at all costs. They are consistently the most expensive and arrogant dealer in the valley.

I agree... I had a bad run in with them also, but they do have a huge inventory of F150s and thought if he could find a better deal....
