I will pay my 0% loan back for the remaining 53 months before I even consider a new vehicle. There is no way I let them slither out of the worst auto loan ever written. In 2027, they can take my last check for $817 and go buy ONE Big Mac with a small order of fries and an ice water.

ALWAYS use a calculator to consider the value of the interest rate; there is a reason that they haggle of discounts up front but not on that.

EDIT: NUMBERZ IZ HARD

Your fleet is all 5.5s? That REALLY surprises me considering most are usually F250\F350s or 2500s\3500s and the F150s I see are usually longer beds with racks on em... But def different strokes I guess.
Im not in that industry but we do four Commercial construction companies and one commercial landscaping IT support and see fleets of Super Dutys or longer F150s all day long.
You can disagree all day long, it’s just you are seeing different than what I am seeing.
It def depends on your local market and your personal/business needs. The 5.5 ft bed seems to be the majority in my market when you look at the F150s driving around, even businesses. Those that are actually hauling stuff are using 250/350s, so maybe that’s why the short bed seems so popular in the 1/2 tons. Everyone we put in a truck that has come from a long bed loves how much easier it is to park without that extra foot, and only a few complain about missing the length.

We have a 24' Rinker boat. I dont know the combined weight of boat and trailer is but its a heavy boat. My 2011 EBoost, 6.5ft bed, towed it with zero issues.
Then bought a 2015 EBoost and honestly the boat dominated the truck. The lack of steel body and smaller wheelbase made my drive a little white knuckled.
Then I bought a 2019 Grand Design 29TBS (36 overall feet). Scared the &@$% out of me towing that. I only towed it from the dealership and then to the property. Thank God it went to the property and I never had to move it again. Then a drunk driver flew off the road and crashed into the trailer... pro hauler, hauled it away. Then I bought a Cherokee 39SR (one of the largest trailers you can buy) and had it hauled to the property cuz it would snap any F150 in half.
Looking forward to taking my boat out this week in my (new to me) '22 with the longer bed. I still would prefer the extra steel-bodied weight but I am very certain this pull will feel better than my '15 shortbox.
I also have a Ford 1510 tractor with backhoe and thats a whole 'nother conversation... Long story short.... for me.... I prefer the longer wheelbase and if I could, would take todays truck, with a steel body. I understand its only 600-700lbs but that weight helps when hauling heavy items...

Custom order 157 with tow mirrors here. I'll never go back to a short bed. And prob never buy off the lot again either.
For what its worth I found my 2022 Plat 6.5 bed (used w/9k miles) for $71,320 10hrs away from me. They are hard to find, but if its your exact unicorn and it actually exists... get it...
:)

EDIT: On a car lot

Currency inflation + product inflation costs = ford paying you to borrow their money. Gotta love it -- I know I do.
