Anyone else in the V8 camp who is part of the 20 MPG lifetime average club? Crossed the line on Thursday on the way back from a work trip coming back from Columbus Ohio to Buffalo. I averaged about 80 MPH so I don’t baby this rig. Who woulda thunk we’d see the day a 400 horsepower V8 averages 20 mpg lol.

Do you have any calculated mpg? My 2.7 STX tells me I’m getting 21.2 lifetime and my calculated numbers are around 19.5 pretty consistently. My PB has me at around 21.5 lifetime and my calculated lifetime is about 20.6.

My other 3.5 EB’s I’ve owned showed much higher than calculated as well. I’ve never put much stock in the numbers the truck displays

I think it was the second month I owned it I hand calc’d a tank and it was averaging 21.5-22 MPG at that point, which was actually better than what my display was showing at that time which was like 19.4 or something.

I track all of my fill ups using Fuelly, so I have lifetime MPG and per tank mpg as well, outside of just the meter on the truck.

I’m not sure where you live, it expect to lose 1-2 mpg when the winter blend comes out

If I keep my foot out if it I can stay just over 20 MPG without issue.

I have a 2021 XLT SuperCrew 4 x 4 and the 5.0L with the 3.31 rear axle ratio. I've never reset mine since driving it of the dealer's lot and it shows 21.8. I just came back to Connecticut from southern Maine today and averaged 24.2 while traveling about 70mph most of the time. I did get 25 once without any traffic making this same trip from Connecticut to Maine. On a recent trip from Charlestown, WV to Ocean City, MD I averaged 26.5 with 4 adults and a bed full of luggage and supplies. I commute to work 18 miles each way and do a pretty good mix of highway and city driving. I'm pretty impressed with the MPG and it seems to have improved as I've put more miles on the truck. I also find that the calculated MPG is generally within 1 to 1.5 MPH compared to calculating it at the pump. I'm not sure if it makes a big difference but I also have a Bak Industries Revolver tonneau cover.

20.7 mpg, 5 0 v8, 3.31 rear, the mpg seems to increase as the mileage on the truck goes up. At 15k I started seeing up to 23 mpg on some highway trips

I’m more concerned with that music selection than mpg lol. AM still works?
On the mpg side I’ve had or have three different trucks all 5.0

My 21 gets 21mpg at 51k miles 87
My 22 got 18mpg at 25k but it was stage 2 whipple 93
My 23 gets 19mpg at 11k on 87 but I keep wheelchairs in the bed

These are all 4x4 3.31 trucks
