It is starting to look like this software update is impacting 2021s but it was pushed to trucks from multiple years. Therefore, one would have to assume that there were hardware changes from year to year and Ford didn’t bother to beta test the software on every year and configuration. Hardware...

The general trend seems to indicate that this is mostly impacting 2021 F150s.

I’d call the Ford Customer Relationship Center (800-392-FORD) and let them know. It sounds like the are tracking the VINs of customers with this concern and gave me the impression that they will send out a software update as soon as one is available.

I noticed that too. Makes we want to trade my F150 in on a Tundra….but that might be just as bad!

Thanks! My son was sitting in the back seat today and said he could hardly hear anything out of the rear speakers. Max volume is only about 2/3 of what it used to be and no bass to speak of even with the bass set to the highest level.

That’s great! I’m a former Ford Tech and I’m sure I could figure it out. I just have to get the usb interface and download Forscan. Would it be possible to post the instructions? This group continues to amaze! Dealers are clueless and I think we as owners have more knowledge about these problems.
