14 months and still no VIN

Ordered 2022 F-150 King Ranch on Feb 7, 2022. Was informed by dealer in November of 2022 it would be a 2023. Last inquiry Ford acknowledged order was in process … same answer as a year ago. Traded a 2016 Lariat at the time to take advantage of generous trade and been without a truck for not only balance of last winter but now this winter. Should have kept the 2016!

This seems unusual. My local dealer says we can pretty much order whatever we want and we would take delivery in about 2 months.

You're much more patient than I would ever be. I would have cancelled that order and found one on a lot by now. There are a ton of trucks available right now and they are dealing once again. Good luck..

Only options ordered were a sunroof and rubber floor mats. Was told spray in liner might hold up production so was going to have that done after market. Just wondered if they were prioritizing producing for US customers before Canadians? Would have cancelled order but base price has already increased by over $10,000 and savings on tax with trade in another $5000. Not sure I want to walk away from $15,000+.

Not those kinds of options - likely something spec'd in the tech category. Which trim level/packages?

I believe it was the standard 601 pkg. there were no other options. Rapid red, 5 1/2 ft box, std V8. There were no ther options

Your order is still processing and there is no ETA on when production will begin. However, it has been given the clear to start production when the next production week becomes available.
