Still no VIN!!

I have a build from august 25th 2021. I finally said screw it, found one in transit to a dealership online and made a deposit. The truck I had on order was beautiful by the options I chose but man, I ain’t waiting over 6 months when I see dealers all around me getting in trucks. Besides, I went with a XLT versus my ordered platinum, crazy right? But the amount I’ll save I can use to focus on doing more stuff with my two kids. #singledad

5+ months and counting, still no vin for me either

I ordered a lariat in 8/21 rolled over to a 22 in October. Been at priority 1 since December and all I get for reasons for not being built color discontinued, chip shortage, 8 ft bed, 5.0, chrome package, snow plow prep. Not all at one time just changed the excuse every time I show them these options on other trucks. Now the dealer is saying it's the combination of all these as the reason for the delays. They even went so far as saying that they do not believe ford will ever build the truck. Their answer is to order another truck minus some options.
