At one point, during the shutdowns, Dearborn was working more production than Kansas. Other than that, i don't know of a difference.
Maybe people in warmer weathers are happier therefore improving build quality in Kansas over Dearborn ;)

Ordered 11/12, received email about 5 days later with 12/20 build week. This morning I received an email pushing me to 1/10/22 build week. Sucks to wait longer, but I'm not mad that my truck isn't built on a short holiday week!

I wish it was optional...
(I'm ashamed... I posted here - then thought the year was wrong and was last years thread and started a new thread... with 2023... I'm either excited or it's the shingles meds...)
Order placed 12/1, VIN assigned 12/2, and I'm in the 1/10 build club... I think 2022... maybe I better double check things! ;)

I too am a 1/10 week now. Was a 12/20. Kind of glad I'm not a before the holidays build. Will have to see if this date sticks.

Hey guys, I have a 6.5/Supercrew Lariat build date for 1/10/2022. I actually had a 2021 ordered that got delivered today and I am really struggling if I should pick it up or wait for my 2022 to come, both the exact same truck, what would you guys do?

Thinking of resale, I'd say wait for the '22. If you buy the '21 its already considered a year old truck now that '22s are being built.

That all depends on what your plans are. If you are going to keep for a while and if you need to finance I'd go with a 21 because there are better financing options right now plus rebates from ford.

If you don't need to finance and trade often then a 22 would have more value as a trade in.

No matter what they are both going to be new trucks to you.

@catskills837 "a bird in the hand is worth more better" - Thomas Jefferson

I'd probably take the 21 if it's all good, no issues and you have a chance to look it over... if you keep the truck for a while... otherwise - you might get one with damage or something else you are not a fan of when the 22 is delivered.

Curious if anyone in this build week has had their truck rescheduled? With the parts shortages at DTP I fear its only a matter of time, but am trying to remain optimistic.

I was re-scheduled to this week from 12-20.

Jan 10th was my original schedule date and I haven’t heard anything from Ford. I assume that’s good news. I’m priority 10, not sure if that matters.
