Ouch - sorry to hear - I'll add you to the list and try to post it tonight. You have our most recent build/blend date of 3/15 (unless @ryanc111 's estimated date of 4/21 holds). Last I checked, the Ford supplier looked to have parts to cover nearly all the back ordered parts ready to ship this month. So for 5.5 beds, 800 parts were planned to be shipped across the first two weeks in July with 830 being on back order at that time.

I'll try to get another update on those #s today.

Finally received my new exhaust pipe extension P/N ML3Z*5A212*W and the dealer installed it today. Fixed the P237C code I have had since March 2022. Never had any leaks, but did have the CEL and experienced reduced power while towing or in hot ambient temperatures. No issues so far and will continue to monitor. I did ask the dealer if I could have the old part to retain as a spare in case the new one starts leaking (old part never leaked, just had issues described above). They said they have to hold it for 45 days to see if Ford requests it under warranty otherwise I can have it. Figure it would be a good "spare" to have on long camping road trips, especially if the new one starts to leak or fails, at least I would have a known no-leak spare to get me home. So for me, it took about 4 1/2 months to get the part. So hope is on the horizon for all...

Well, I just dropped off my truck with the dealership to get it repaired. The SA was shocked to see it arrive this soon since we were anticipating late August, early September. I am beyond excited and grategful it was able to get here in time for the few trips I have coming up. I hope they have everything they need to complete the repair. I should be getting it back either tomorrow or Friday morning.

What - I thought this was groundhog year? It actually really does seem to be repeating doesn't it?

I saw @ryanc111 's date in the list thinking his was a MY22, not a MY21, and projected that onto two dates. Don't try to run programs and read forum dates while processing. HAH

Do you know your build/blend date, miles when you noticed the issue, . It's interesting that we've had the majority of reports from blend dates of Dec 21 through Feb 22, with one outlier of Sep 21, and now we've had 2 early dates in Mar and Apr of 21. So the problem does not seem to be related to simply a recent assembly line issue for a few months.

Congrats on your 2nd repair (both non-drivable) and 56 and 48 days without your truck. We hope it holds for this repair.

This whole situation is total crap. I unknowingly bought a brand new truck with the leak. I stopped counting at 100 days of the dealership having my truck. I filed with the BBB. My truck qualifies 4 times over now. I honestly cant even remember the truck anymore I had it for so little, and have been without it for so long. Ford, if you are reading, your response to this issue has been absolutely pathetic. I am a Blue tiered member, and will be majorly re evaluating my ownership of Ford stock and vehicles.

Sorry that you only had 300 miles on it and have been without it since 3/29. I got some news on parts shipping that is good though and maybe you will get a call very soon. (You should definitely with a non-drivable truck).

Parts info that I could get today:

This indicates that manufacturing has caught up or is catching up with the demand. The dealership I went to for the repair did not have any other leaks reported to them while I was waiting for my part. The day after they called me to say my part was in, a 2nd driver brought his truck in for the same leak. His part arrived in just a few days and they were surprised. I would imagine some of these extra 6.5' parts are heading to dealerships/distribution points for future needs.

So fingers crossed, we are heading into a good patch, assuming these parts stay dry.

The tech decided to take care of my truck today before he tears into another truck which would have delayed my repair by at least a week. My truck is home and all repaired. Honestly, this situation just sucked, but I appreciate how quickly my turnaround was for this repair. I don’t know if Ford stepped up, my dealership, or a combination of both.

My truck was considered “off-road” but they allowed me to take it home to store it instead of leaving it at the dealership. It gave me an opportunity to detail the interior and exterior of the truck numerous times so it’s like new again. I hope you all get your trucks repaired soon. Thanks for the support.

As for a leaker showing up earlier than a Dec 21 blend......I'm not really a pessimist, but I've already mentioned that I'm not confident in the design/material choices. I really hope that it's not something that deteriorates after hundreds of heat cycles.

Hi @TN Rotty. The blend date code from the window sticker is 220210201 5732. I took delivery 3/12/2021. The CEL came on at 20550 miles.

Okay - so I'm reading that date as 2021 - 02/01. or Feb 1st 2021. In re-reading your post, I'm assuming you were able to drive it. Let me know otherwise and I'll update the list coming below. Thanks!
