Just had mine replaced by the dealership under warranty. No issues getting them to approve the new appliqué. It started to break away months ago and had it documented by the dealership at that time. I am approaching 36,000 miles so I took the truck in for the replacement. Quick and easy.
Welp, my story is a little different. Before I left for work this morning, I checked SYNC; no update and no failed message. Is this one of those phantom updates many have mentioned? Little bummed, but oh well. It is what it is.
Another crazy method to add to our theories to trigger an OTA. I just replaced my MotorCraft H7 battery with an Interstate H7 battery and reset the BMS and bam! There it is! Update scheduled for tonight. I believe it should be 6.5.0. Downtime is 45 minutes. I will keep the trickle charger on it...
