Good afternoon, took my truck to the dealer yesterday and was told that I had a high voltage code for my check engine light, has anybody else had this issue. They gave a loaner to drive. Anybody else have this on their powerboost?
my 2022 Powerboost with 2400 miles is going on a month in the shop for high voltage issue. Was driving and light came on and said “ Stop Safely Now”. I pulled over and put it in park and it locked into park, never to come out again. Called Ford roadside and a tow truck was dispatched. Waited 2 hrs for the truck (I was 80 miles from home) and kept trying my truck hoping the code would clear. It didn’t. They towed it to the closest dealer that was certified to work in the hybrid, and the dealer tore into it first thing and they said the “high voltage fuse” was popped and they had to emergency order one from ford. Ford gives no lead time and no loaner available at the dealer so I am completely SOL, with no expectation on when I’ll have my brand new truck back. I told the dealer that we need to identify why the fuse popped in the first place, as it may happen again. They agreed and ordered an extra fuse in case they pop one during diagnosing the truck.
so anyways, not sure if it applies but definitely sucks not having the truck to drive.. especially after spending $80k on a half ton..
Did this ever get resolved. My truck is having the same issue, been to three different Ford dealers and they can't figure it out. Going on two months without the truck....
Same with mine. Replaced the high voltage cables from battery/hybrid system and no issues since. I had to call Ford Customer Service to get a fire under their butt to expedite parts. I waited almost 6 weeks with no updates then called Customer Service and complained and 5 days later my truck was fixed. Ford responds with more urgency to a squeaky customer than the dealer it seems like. They would rather send the part than buy back an $80k truck..
