I started my 2022 PB today and heard a bunch of water falling under my truck. Check out the videos. Is this normal? It seems to be water. It seems to be coming out of the rusted spots. Only 1600 miles on it.

I couldn’t find this on the forum sorry if it’s been addressed before.

That doesn't look right, you might want to take a look and see where it's coming from. The exhaust does have holes in it to allow the condensation to come out when cold, but it's more of a slow drip. Never seen it running out like that. You could have a heat exchanger leak. Also check the coolant tank to see what the level is. On the power boost, there's two coolant tanks.

I dont think its the heat exchanger leak because that leak is external to the exhaust system and does not drip in multiple spots. it could be normal depending on how the vehicle is driven plus there have also been other posts with similer issues. I would keep an eye on it and if this happens regularly then take in to your ford service shop and see what they say.

It is dried up. Coolest levels seem ok.
My 22 XLT V8 does that too. Leaks exhaust condensation from the front of the muffler and the resonator during warm up.

Thanks. It was during warm up too.

My 22 PB has the same amount pouring out when cold. I thought it was coming from behind the muffler, just hadn't looked under the truck yet. I did have a coolant leak that was "fixed" but I am still seeing coolant loss.

I’d be panicking if I saw coolant loss on a new truck. Especially if it was leaking out the exhaust.

My PB does that if I remote start it. Never noticed a drip towards the front of the vehicle, but there's definitely one back by the muffler under the rear passenger door.

I haven't looked in a while but I made sure it wasn't the heat exchanger and there has been no changes in coolant levels in either reservoir. I have about 8k miles on it so far and probably remote start it 2-3 days a week since December.

Also you can smell if it's coolant, not sure I'd actually taste it lol. If I remember I'll snap a picture of the puddle under my truck one of these mornings.

I just noticed my 21 PB doing the same thing when remote starting and letting it run for 5-10 minutes. Freaked me out at first but not getting any errors on the dash.

Reviving this thread as the same issue is happening on my 2022 PB during warm up when sub-freezing outside. No errors, just what seems like an excessive amount of moisture coming out in an identical manner to the videos posted at the top of this thread. Normal, not normal?

Others have also noticed this phenomenon.

Mine does this too. Coolant level looks good. Multiple tiny puddles mid and rear. Honestly I haven't given it much thought.
