Yeah I will not go back. One of my two orders was with Tomball Ford, and it appears it will be the first one to show up. So I'm not liking this at all.

Look at the bright side. Someone will purchase the truck with all their high cost add-ons.One of my two orders was with Tomball Ford, and it appears it will be the first one to show up. So I'm not liking this at all.
I placed an order for a 21 with them and was not told up front that they had dealer add-ons. Only after seeing this thread did I ask them and indeed they will be installing their add-ons. No way around it.Tomball Ford insisted they would have to install their add-ones.
Sorry to hear this. Clearly they don’t care what the customer wants.I placed an order for a 21 with them and was not told up front that they had dealer add-ons. Only after seeing this thread did I ask them and indeed they will be installing their add-ons. No way around it.
I'll be cancelling my order with them after this weekend.
Interesting. I was told in July when I placed my order that they “were one of the few that didn’t do ADM”.I placed an order for a 21 with them and was not told up front that they had dealer add-ons. My sales guy told me that the add-ons were beneficial to me as I was actually getting something as opposed to just ADM like other nearby dealers.Interesting. I was told in July when I placed my order that they “were one of the few that didn’t do ADM”.
Guess I’ll find out in a couple of weeks.
Yep that's a salesman LOL. Glad you found a deal you were happier with!My sales guy told me that the add-ons were beneficial to me as I was actually getting something as opposed to just ADM like other nearby dealers.
Gotcha. I think I misunderstood what dealer "add-ons" were.My sales guy told me that the add-ons were beneficial to me as I was actually getting something as opposed to just ADM like other nearby dealers.
I've since taken this weekend to shop around and found a much nicer f150 than the one I ordered that I will be picking up Monday....with no add-ons.
Found this thread on the site https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/frustrated-with-tonneau-search-perfect-tonneau.3228/My last two tonneau covers I ordered online and had them delivered. Current one is the Bakflip fold model. No issues after 7 years, though the top does not look new. For my new truck I am considering the hard rollup. https://bakflip.com/p/bak-revolver-x4s-tonneau-cover/
I will go with LineX for the bedliner. I installed LineX bedliner when I purchased my 2007, GMC Sierra and have had no problems with it.
I am still looking for a tint shop.
I've been looking at this one too. I like that it has a different style of release than just the pull cables. Also like the quad-fold design.Found this thread on the site https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/frustrated-with-tonneau-search-perfect-tonneau.3228/
Looking hard at the Leer HF650M now.
And if I remember right, no drain tubes.I've been looking at this one too. I like that it has a different style of release than just the pull cables. Also like the quad-fold design.
I was looking on the LineX website and they offer a few tonneau covers with what they call end-to-end lifetime warranty. My current Bakflip is 7 years old. Still in working order but the top coating is showing a lot of wear. I’ll have to stop by their shop and check them out.And if I remember right, no drain tubes.
