MIne has done it like three times and all after updates so I assumed it was due to that. FWIW I have never had to do anything it starts working correctly by the time I hit the end of my 400' driveway.
Like stated above as long as you maintain the seals every couple of years you should be fine. I have never had issues with mine on any of the vehicles we have had. The only thing that would cause me to pause is if the truck is outside all the time especially in a hot climate but even then I'd...
Jesse any chance you can look at mine? I just returned from a road trip to CO with no BC came out here and found this thread, sure enough my SYNC says handsfree driving through 9/10/22. Don't want to bother with the dealer if I can avoid it. Thanks in advance for your help and willingness to...
I understand that but I had the trial OnStar on my 2015 Canyon and would not pay $1,500 to have it, honestly I wouldn't pay anything to have it. Which means my money will be looking elsewhere which is unfortunate becuase we were interested in a Buick SUV for my wife.
You can get them out (polisher) but unless you are handwashing your car and using good microfiber towels good luck keeping them nice. Film is your best option if you're not doing as stated above.
Totally understand but as long as I have options I'm not paying MSRP, including options I have no intent on using, or paying for something I think should be included. Luckily so far we have options I for one hope consumers push back on these money grabs and keep it that way if not well I'll deal...
@JEB Thanks for this! Mine does show-BB so I assume at some point the recall message will disappear from Fordpass? Not a big deal as I don't tow that often but curious none the less.
@tonesto7 Thanks for the widget this is great!
Agreed hopefully there is enough pushback that they rethink this. I for one am not paying to use my heated seats (BMW), remote start (Toyota), and dang sure not a subscription service I don't want or need (GM)
GMC and Buick announced not long ago (June 2022) that you will now have to purchase 3 yrs of Onstar at the tune of $985 - $1,500 depending on the vehicle. Its a line item on the MSRP Sticker. so it's not just the foreign automakers talk about a money grab!
