Does anyone have some insight on swapping my manual release tailgate to a power release? I have a power-release tailgate I want to swap onto my truck. I do not need to be able to release it from my key just to release it when I push the button. Does anyone make a harness for this or would I just...

Sorry for the late reply, you need to save and copy the IPC as built file. This will be the file you will need to reload once you have the new cluster in. Remember to save this before you take the old unit out and save your milage

Yes plug and play, you need to save your file via forscan and make sure you know your mileage. You can go up on the mileage but not down.

So you'll need the Screen, Apim, and the correct lower-trim depending if you have a console or not, depending on your buttons you may need an extra button, I bought a harness from ford, and also bought an extra pigtail harness from a harness maker. I couldn't tell you how to do it exactly...

been a couple of weeks now, finished my 12" screen and 12" cluster upgrade on my single cab.

I just did this swap, Anyone have the part number for this blank all black switch? I don't want the one with the silver trim as it wont match.

You have to change the top pieces 100%, if not you’ll have a 1” gap at the bottom. You can put the 12” cluster in but it won’t look right. These are the parts I used and matched perfectly

Ford plastic pieces were about 900, the cluster depends where you get it from. I bought 3 at the same time so I got a good deal on mine. You would probably be at about 2k total in to do it
