I wonder if the order would just become a 22 of if we'd have to go back to the dealership and start over again? Hmmm

I also got Leadfoot on my XLT! What engine did you go with?

My dealer said that you already got a vin, you wont be getting the 22MY

Well fellas, this week brings us more sadness. We're getting awfully close to ordering 2022 models. If we don't get scheduled next Thursday 9/9, then we should all be prepared to start reaching out to our ordering dealers.

You can still get scheduled after next week. Next week the 2022 order bank opens up, but Ford will still schedule 2021 orders for build through early-mid Nov. At that point they'll shut down and retool for 2022 models and start production on those on Dec 6

What happens if they keep shutting the plants down? Will they keep pushing out all the builds into January? At this rate, KCAP has been shut down 4+ weeks since I ordered.

My understanding is that Dearborn stops production of MY 21 Nov 14 or so and Kansas City stops production of MY 21 Dec 6. For higher trims that are only scheduled at Dearborn that is bad news

This is really unprecedented times for the industry so I think the best answer is no-one yet knows.
