Fellow 5.0 owner here and I’m at about 450 miles. I’ve tried to keep it fairly light footed(some exceptions include freeway/open street where i kinda floor it). But the usual gear change I’ve noticed (depending on drive mode) is around 1.2-2.0 rpms.

I've had my truck for a week and I'm still loving it. That blue and chrome mix in the So Cal sun always hit the spot for me. Looking to get it washed to keep it looking clean. Contemplating ceramic coating.

I caved this past weekend and got one that was on a seller's lot. It was exactly what I was looking for(plus extras). No mark-up too. Ironically my orders sticker came up yesterday and it shows a date of 10/26. I'll be letting it go.

Welp, looks like my order was pushed back per my dealer. Moved to 11/3.

That's a solid break-in trip home. My forecasted commute home is essentially all highway with maybe 1, or at max 2, stops for restroom/refuel. I also plan to vary the speeds, but I dont plan on flooring it until after the first 500-1k miles.

I don’t plan to tow for awhile. This thing is aimed to be a luxury/vacation road trip vehicle.

how was the rental? From what FP said, and previous orders on here, it tends not to update until maybe a week prior or a few days before.

I check in with my dealer and they've had a date now for the past 2 weeks. They are staying with the date 10/29.

What was the mark-up? Lol 5K? 10K?

I live in the LA area and have seen maybe a total of 10 trucks (2021).

Rumor is we won’t see anything on the Ford tracker until maybe a week, or two, out from the build week(date). Window sticker have been coming in for previous orders maybe a day to a week before build date. Fingers crossed we all get them built/in by Christmas!

If my truck is every built/shipped, I’ll be asking my dealer what my options are as well.

I just keep a tab open with my VIN and order #. Then I refresh whenever I want. Might need to resubmit the form sometimes but it generally works.

Just spoke with my dealer, he stays 10/29 is what it says on WBDO. Still the same week, just moved over a few days. Thats alright as long as it doesnt go back another week lol

Ohhhh, gotcha! FP gave me the date, I trust them, but I also want to talk to my dealer to see if they can see it. Hit it from both sides and hopefully have them confirm the good news. Fingers crossed gents our build dates hold!

Checked with FP today and they said, "That order is scheduled for production on 10/29/2021. I am not seeing an ETA for delivery to your dealer yet. Once production nears completion, I would expect one to populate." I checked both trackers, Ford website and here VIN tracker, but both don't show...

On the window for the FP chat, there is a specific line about vehicle orders that has an email. I think they’re getting fed up with all the chats asking only for build status vs Ford performance parts lol
