Can you let me know what exhaust you get installed?
Thanks
I went with the OEM Ford Exhaust pipe so I wouldn't have any issues

BM3, what muffler are you using to connect those tailpipes? Is there any chance that you have a photo of them connected to the muffler? I have been waiting for the Borla Tremor tailpipes since July, but they are still not available. If the Ford pipes will fit my Borla muffler, then this looks like my solution.

Sorry I don't have a picture. Currently I'm using the stock muffler, he had to fabricate a custom Y pipe for the duals to fit because our stock muffler (5.0L) has one inlet and one outlet. The 3.5 Tremor muffler has the correct configuration for duals one inlet and two outlets. Just on the fence right now still very quiet with the new dual setup, I would like to change our stock muffler to a Borla or Vibrant just unsure which direction to go.

Thanks for your response. I have my bumper parts scheduled to be painted during the first week of November. Once I get them back and installed, I will probably take it to a custom exhaust shop that I know and see if there is a way we can easily modify the Borla tailpipes to work. I have a rear sway bar that will not fit until I get that LH tailpipe up higher where it crosses behind the rear end. The LH tailpipe currently occupies the exact place where the sway bar is supposed to reside. I don't understand why Borla did not use the same exhaust routing path that Ford used for it's 21+ dual exhaust trucks. They did on my last truck, a 2019 F150 Limited with factory dual exhaust. On the 21+ they did not. I will document as much as I can with photos to help anyone that needs it. If someone needs a certain view, let me know.

Well I looked through this thread and I know some of the posts are a bit old. However I wanted to say that I have ordered a Borla Atak cat back system that will give me 2 rear exhaust pipes. I was looking through various threads and was very pleased with the quality of the comments here. In addition to the Borla system (i am sure my neighbors are going to love me), I have ordered the bumperettes from a 2019 Limited F-150 I think in Canada it's called something else. Anyway they have the cutouts for the dual exhaust exiting in the rear. It looks rather straight forward but I will let you know how it goes. You would think Ford would have already put this kind of system on their premium trucks. It really makes the truck look so much more finished. I see them on Dodge trucks and even Chevy and GMC have their models with dual rear exhaust. The tips are smashed into an odd shape but hey at least they did something. I have an ATI cold air induction system, the one with the larger pipes (more air the better, right??) So with the Borla system more exhaust should be vented away.. aggressively!!!

Well I would be happy to record my Borla system for your listening pleasure. Just for grins I was thinking on using one of my guitar amps to really bring up the sound...

Where did you buy all your parts from? I found the end caps and top step pad second hand but it doesn’t have mounting brackets

Then paint matching with Space White Metallic (A3) was another $307.50 on top of that.

That’s all the parts I ordered to complete the swap. The only thing I would do different is spend a couple more bucks for an oem top step pad for the rear bumper.

Using the 17-20 Raptor parts does save a bunch of money, but I prefer the look of the 21-22 parts. I feel like the body lines match up better from the box side to the bumper. If you are trying to build a sportier looking truck, the Raptor parts would be a good option. Thanks for sharing!

wonder how easy this would be to add to a 157" truck. i'm sure its just as simple as extending the exhaust in the middle of the truck somewhere

The Borla exhaust systems use a length of pipe in front of the muffler to adapt their systems to the various truck lengths. Their base system is for the 145" trucks and then they offer adaptor pipes PN-60556 (for the 157") and PN-60564 (for the 163") to make the system fit. If you go to their website, you can see their instructions which will show you where they add that pipe to their system. The same basic concept should apply to most other brands as well.

So if I got these OEM exhaust pieces, it should bolt right up to my 3.5 correct? No modifications? (2021)

Unfortunately no you'd require the Tremor exhaust muffler that has two exhaust outlets to mount to these tail pieces
