I ordered the Platinum PB 4x4 SCREW. Built and awaiting shipment. Window sticker states 145" wheelbase. Is that the 5.5 or 6.5 bed? There actually was no obvious way for me to change the bed size during order process, so I assumed I was getting the only option, standard bed. Will this will be 67" bed?

Thanks! When I went on Ford's website for the Platinum specs it seemed to list different dimensions....so I was a bit confused.

This is my first full size pickup so I went from no bed at all to a 5.5' with a full BedRug, LED box lighting, cleats, PPoB7.2 outlet box, and a sweet BAK 4Xs cover. Sometimes I make up reasons to be in it lol

Those are Regular Cab dimensions (up there in the blue box). @JScaro posted the Super Crew dimensions. A 145" wheelbase = 5.5' box on Super Crews.

164" gang checking in. Full sheets of plywood with tailgate up and nothing hanging out/resting on the rails.
We don't talk about turning though :censored:

The basic rule is, if it's a SuperCrew, it's a 5.5' bed. 95% probability
If it's a SuperCrew Lariat, it's a 5.5' bed, 97% probability
If it's a SuperCrew Platinum or Limited, it's a 5.5' bed, 99.999% probability.

Ford doesn't make many SuperCrew 6.5' beds for general production, at all. They make even fewer of them at higher trim levels. If one appears on a lot AT ALL, at any trim level, it's likely because either a dealer special ordered one (they occasionally do) or a person ordered one and cancelled the order after it was built, or the person never took delivery for some reason.

We have no way to know this for certainty, but I would bet just about every cent I have that Ford just doesn't produce ANY, not one, Platinum or Limited unless it's specifically ordered by someone, or a dealer.

They are just a low volume product. And always have been. See also, the 8' bed SuperCab...

I had a 2015 6.5' SuperCrew and had to wait till July 2015 before one showed up on a lot, the order banks had closed for the 2015 MY by the time I decided to pull the trigger on a 2015 to replace my 2005.

The 6.5' bed SCREW didn't even exist until 2007 or 2008. The 8' bed SuperCab was a lot more common prior to the 2004 redesign, but it's probably the rarest of the lot these days.

Strangely both me and my father are in the market for a truck right now and we are both in the process of placing orders, i'm getting a 302A SCREW 6.5' bed, and he's getting a 302A SCAB 8' bed.

We are either going to order from Granger, or this local dealer who claims to be able to "beat any quote"... we will see about that Saturday. I have a great offer from Granger and am ready to pull the trigger, but if they can beat it, and I am able to avoid a plane ticket and 1800 mile drive to get the truck, I will do it.

Be warned, if you are looking to order a MY23 Limited in an oddball config like a 6.5' bed, be prepared to wait 6+ months and possibly have your order cancelled or converted to a MY24...

For general stock SuperCab has a 6.5’ bed and super crew has a 5.5’ bed. Both are the same 145” wheelbase. Being a 24 year old single guy that drives solo 95% of the time I wanted the bigger bed so I did the scab.

I feel bad for the Super Duty guys whose ‘22 were transferred to a ‘23. That new front end is absolutely hideous, I think some just walked away from their orders. I would have too can’t blame them. F-150 doesn’t look like it will receive drastic looks changes so that shouldn’t be a worry.
