Thanks for checking. When I shift into reverse, the sensors light up and constantly beep as if they were detecting objects in the way, but there is nothing there. Sometimes the alarms and beeping go away if I accelerate quickly while in reverse.

I've taken it to the dealership twice to diagnose. Dealer says there are a lot of other trucks coming in with the same issue but they do not have a fix and that Ford will need to recall them or issue some update. They didn't even attempt to replace the sensors. I plan on going to a different dealer to diagnose.

3/12/2024 update: the second dealer replaced the two parking sensors circled in red below, but now I get an intermittent orange beep instead of constant red beeping when in reverse. Video showing my issue:

3/14/2024 update: dealer said it's a bad control module and they're replacing it tomorrow.

I'm guessing they're guessing. But after they replace it we'll know if my guess proves they weren't guessing.
Or that they were a lucky guesser. :)

Service advisor believes it's a $4,100 driver control module because they've tested the sensors on different locations, and it seems to be always in the same passenger outter rear sensor, and sometimes the front driver outter and rear driver outter sensors.

I get that they have verified that the sensors themselves aren't the culprit.
I just think the immediate jump to its the module is a parts swap guess. And a lazy one too.

But it's so common these days in the digital realm of automotive repair.

What could be other things to check first before replacing the module?

I suspect that the signal is going to be a very low voltage on the harness to each sensor. millivolts

So the harness/connector to the faulty sensors could be an issue.
As well as the connectors at the module itself.
And then of course the module software itself might have an update available, if it's a software issue that Ford knows about and has addressed it.

I'm just saying that it's not common for the issue to be at the circuit board level unless there has been water intrusion or physical damage to the internals.

It's POSSIBLE for a the module to be faulty, but not common if it was functioning properly originally.
