I just got my truck back from the dealership where they fixed a pain issue. I know it required them to remove the 2 driver side doors.

I've let them know about the issue and I'm going to give it a few days before taking it back, but can anyone think of why I would get this now or simple things I can do to fix it?

I've opened and closed all the doors, good and tailgate. I also followed the instructions in the manual for that error. Kinda upsetting that I now get this after getting my truck back. I know the dealer will make it right, but still.

I know you said you checked this but from the manual, maybe drive it a little more?

Why is reverse braking assist unavailable?
• Make sure the reverse braking assist is
on. See Switching Reverse Braking
Assist On and Off (page 293).

• Make sure that all doors and the
liftgate or tailgate are closed. Drive the
vehicle on a straight road for a short
period. If the message remains, contact
an authorized dealer.

• Make sure the cross traffic alert system
is on if equipped. See Switching
Reverse Braking Assist On and Off
(page 293).

• Make sure the rear parking aid system
is on. See Rear Parking Aid (page 314).

• Make sure the traction control is on.
See Switching Reverse Braking
Assist On and Off (page 293).

• You recently had your vehicle serviced,
or the battery disconnected. Drive your
vehicle a short distance to resume
system operation.

Ok. Maybe it's the last one. I drove it 7.5 miles home on a pretty straight bit of road, but may it needs more. It also would not go into electric only mode the whole drive home, but I took it out a second time when I got home and electric started working again.

If it doesn’t correct on its own it’s probably going to need the cameras calibrated with fdrs in the same way it was needed for people that had spray in bed liner done after purchase because the tailgate was removed. just a guess since you said doors were removed.
