I was actually sold on UPR before I purchased from a forum member who didn’t want it anymore.

I mounted it to the battery tray, the catch can intake line required a bit fishing under harnesses to keep it from kinking, but fit and finish are top notch.
Awesome looks slick! Thanks

I was watching the video below a while back and it shows that the combination of direct and port injection definitely reduces carbon buildup compared to straight direct injection but it does not keep the valves as clean as straight port injection.

I ordered a JLT 3.0 for my truck. Im still seeing reports of oil in the vacuum lines and that the catch cans do accumulate junk. Better in the catch can, that the intake. I'll just take it off if I have to take my truck in for service.

Are these ok to run in cold/freezing temps? I thought I read somewhere about lines freezing but I have limited knowledge of these.

I think the main thing is just making sure it doesn't get full from what I've read.

Red flagged for a catch can? Really? Flagged for what? I mean do they flag you for a CAI? Or putting mud tires on the stock rims? Flagged for tint? I mean really common.

I would hope anyone who installs a AOS or catch can would have enough common sense to remove it before flat-bedding the truck to a dealer after engine failure. Dealers are independent businesses, they don't care. They only want to get paid for warranty service. Ford makes the decision on engine failure coverage.

Also, regardless if it's 100% DI or not, running a catch can or OAS is worth it, IMO.
Flagged for emissions tampering since the PVC system is a emission device

I think the 5.0 has it built in. It separates a little oil here and there into to the cylinders and then out the exhaust pipe. lol. JK . I’m just mad my 3.5 sounds worse than my Volvo.
Its a 6.....what did you expect? By a v8 if you want it to sound good

Does anyone know if you can purchase lengths of hose and the fittings to make your own hose lengths? I would like to get the Ford Performance unit and do a custom mount on the battery box if possible.

I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to do that.
