My wife has a 2017 with the eb and it's a strong engine. Much stronger than my 2012 5.0l. 95 percent I will be ordering the eb.

Just curious why everyone wants a 5.0 in the tremor. The 3.5 has more torque and same hp. Going to order one and just curious of everyone's thoughts.

So I pulled the trigger and ordered a 2023 Lariat today with the 3.5L, 502a package, and sports appearance (don't like all the chrome lol) . I did Area 51, I might change the color I don't know. What is everyone's thoughts on that color? The price is now around $70k, I did have some deals with xplan and what not to help bring it down a bit, there is a $500 build credit I think they gave me too.

I just got my order confirmation a few minutes ago. Now I guess I wait to throw almost $70k into a vehicle, its a lot of money, I have never bought a new vehicle before but I figured I should have the experience at least once in my life lol.

Not a fan of 3.5 ecoboosts at all. Too many engines needing timing chains and cam phasers with low miles. Then once it reaches higher miles, turbos go out. 5.0 all day long.

That I understand! Had to replace the cam phasers on my wife's 17. But that was under a recall. Other than that issue haven't had any problems out of it.

Just curios - what's the order process for these? Do you need a reservation, and if so, am I far too late? My brother mentioned this when I told him about the V8 TRX and now I'm intrigued.

Also placed request with corporate today for my replacement fleet lariat. Curious about two things. We’ve been getting 501a lariats with bench seat and beautiful machines finish 18” wheels. Looks like I’ll be getting a console and 18” pvd wheels this go round. Gotta admit I got use to the bench in my 21 lariat and really really love the wheels.

Yep. It strikes me that the Lariat trim in particular has undergone the most radical changes from 2022 > 2023 in terms of options available to tailor the vehicle to user preference.
