I thought the KC plant was still making 2020s until October.

They are still doing buildouts there, MI is prepping for the 2021 right now and then KC after that...

Just sent that salesman an e-mail with this VIN and sheet.
Told him I'm not gonna be too happy with a 4-dr Lariat.
(Not sure where this car is going--hope not to my dealer)
He needs to get a few things ironed out and not send me stuff on someone else's vehicle.
Not even remotely close to what I ordered.
(SuperCab, 8' box, Mid XLT, Console, Tan interior)

I was looking at the info my dealer sent me several days ago and noticed mine had actually changed status, I didn't catch it at first. It went from unscheduled clean to week of 26 Oct then went to day of 26 Oct. Hope it changes to a bit eairler, that is a Monday, yuk.

I ordered back in August and each day I get more anxious. Hope I get a VIN by the end of this month. Fingers crossed.

Got a bad update today, now it has slipped almost a month into Nov.

I hope the rest of you that have ordered start getting some good information and VINs

My dealer here in Canada contacted me today indicating my order has been uploaded into the "manufacturer's system" so we should have a VIN nr soon. Not sure how long this might take or what it means for the production dates/delivery times of my truck.
Anyone have some more information on stuff like this?

Congratulations, that is a big move forward for an order!

For me once my order was accepted I got my VIN in just a couple of days. You should get a scheduled build week soon after that, then later it will change to a build day.

Hi All, I am new here, so if I posted this in the wrong spot, dont go too hard on me

I am trying to get an approximate ship date of this truck to the dealer in my area. Fordtracker lists this trucks primary status as "In Production". What does that mean? Its not manufactured yet? It also lists the Production Date as 11-19-20, yet on the window sticker (which I circled in yellow) I believe is the manufacture date (11-04-20). This truck does have a VIN # already.
This dealer already got 1 2021 F-150 in stock. That truck which is exactly the same as the one I want, (minus rear sliding window) had a production date of 11-29-20.

Shipping is all over the place right now and the norms no longer apply.

Don't know what all you have read on this site but there are several delays due to parts and currently an issues with the BLIS on some of the early production vehicles which seems to be slowing down there shipping.

Also an issue with the power running boards, which has also slowed down all build trucks with those.

Even the dealers have no idea when they will receive their orders. They won't know anything certain till they are loaded on rail-cars, then they get a notification.

Got my Vin today for my Powerboost and a delivery week of 01/25. They said could be a week early or a week later than the ETA they received. It was ordered in September.
Also got to view a Platinum first hand. Wow! The new interior is just awesome.

I had placed my order on 7/16 and was told in early December that I had a build date of 2/1. Now looking over the order spreadsheet, I see mine seems to be taking extremely long. Could this be dealer related or factory? I understand the parts delays etc.
