(Jan 7) Report on 2021 F-150 Production Update and Constraints

Quick question for you. My dealer stated I have a scheduled build week of 2/1, but both VIN trackers still only have me at the “Order Confirmed”/“Order In Processing” step, has been for about a week. Is this normal in your experience, or a sign that it could be delayed?

I was originally scheduled for 1-19 and have been pushed to 1-24 (Apparently same week of 1-18)
Still no date on the trackers for production (order processing) and the window sticker is not yet available.

But, it's time to start checking daily

My truck had been built but dealer couldn’t tell me where it was. She had limited info but could see the eta

Great news Bob, thanks for passing it on to us. Maybe I'll finally get a build date to go along with the VIN I got before the Holidays.

Is your patience worse or better now that you know your truck will be in your hands by the end of the week? Good luck on the delivery, and Roll Tide!

It is, check for your window sticker when you get a week out, that will tell you for sure.

Sadly I have had my VIN for a month and est prod of 2/1. No window sticker yet. hopefully later this week....

You might get it by the end of February. The new builds are moving much faster. Mine was built in November and held up by Qc issues. Remind me what truck did you order?

My truck has been waiting on truck transport since last Thursday afternoon. I spoke to the transport company yesterday and was told they would try and get it out today.

I have been appreciating all your posts and info on production. I ordered a Powerboost Lariat back on September 24. I called my salesman yesterday to see if he had a VIN for my truck. He said he just got a build date of 2/15 and would get me the VIN when he got it. It seems from reading the posts that the VIN gets assigned first. Am I wrong or is it random? Thx. I see the tide really rolled last night!

Same here it arrived last Thursday. I spoke to trucking company they said it would be sent to dealer tomorrow they couldn't get it today. Very nice helpful person said they tried to get it out today but too many in front of it. See what happens tomorrow.
