Ordered a max trailer tow Lariat back in February and haven’t heard anything from dealer or Ford other than it’s waiting to be scheduled. Now I’m nervous about the issues with the max trailer tow axles mentioned on this forum and wondering if the problem is big enough that Ford has stopped producing max trailer tow F-150s until they have a fix.
My question is has anybody had an F-150 max trailer tow scheduled for a build recently? Wondering if I’m just waiting for something that might never get built because with current shortages who knows how long it may take to actually fix the axle issues. Hell they can’t even replace wiper motors for customers, not sure how they’d ever redesign and test a new axle setup in these current conditions. Hoping for good news and that somewhere out there people with better luck than me are getting they’re trucks built or else I’d have to start looking at other Chevy or Ram trucks as an alternative.
