Let's see who can have the most fun!
Rules:
Minimum 15 miles on trip odometer
Use all 10 spds on trans - no locking out
Nothing hooked to the bumper and leave your cargo at home.
No speeding tickets during test!
(It's more fun being quick from 0 mph to posted MPH. That should still be legal in most jurisdictions)
Use your grey matter - you know when to wick it up!

Hmm. I'm not going to do this, but could probably give it a pretty good shot if I wanted to:
Hook up a heavy and un-aerodynamic trailer, and then go 75 mph up I-80 from Salt Lake to Park City (gaining roughly 2500ft to the pass summit).

Another fly in the ointment! Fixing...

OK...even without the trailer, I suspect I can still get pretty close to the worst numbers possible, by using that that same route and speed and doing it in 4H. Not too many places in the US with that much elevation gain where you can go 75+ the whole way. I can tell you from actual experience of doing it plenty of times in 4A that it's around 10MPG. Normally if conditions are so bad that I need to use 4H instead of 4A, I'm not going the 75MPH speed limit.
That said, the other fly in the ointment would be lifts and tires. Someone with Mud Terrains and a 4" lift is pretty much automatically going to subtract 5 or so MPG.

So you're saying I have to hit 9 mpg to win my own contest? Got it.

How about the 5.0? I’m averaging 10 mpg since I bought her hauling nothing but my 160lb self to work and back lol. 5.0 on e85, sport mode, and lots of wot. And I haven’t even leveled her on ridge grapplers yet.

I get my worst MPG idling! You PowerBoost owners have a disadvantage in that department :p

My apologies, this is for PB drivers only. We all know the 5.0 is the most fun motor for gearheads!

Cottonwood AZ towards Flagstaff gains 4000 feet if anyone needs another spot to go for the win.

Maybe use my ex-wife as additional weight? That will cut my mpg's in half. -jk

I just got about 15mpg on a 6 mile trip. I think it is the lowest I have ever had. I'm not sure why it was so low. I think it was that I had idling time at a drive-thru.
